Pedicure Tips - How to do a Pedicure
A pedicure is a way to improve the appearance of the feet , and their nails. A pedicure can be helpful because it can prevent nail diseases and nail disorders. It basically is a manicure for the feet. It also means the care of the feet and toenails. The word pedicure comes form the Latin words pes , which means foot, and cura , which means care.
Pedicure Manicure Steps
Remove any old nail polish thoroughly.
Take some lukewarm water in small tub.
Add small amount (almost 1 pouch) of pedicure shampoo and hydrogen peroxide in that water.
Clip your toenails straight across using a toenail clipper or scissors. Clipping straight across will help prevent ingrown toenails.
Clean the foot using nail brush, foot scrapper and pumice stone .
Remove the foot from the basin and clean thoroughly using a soft towel.
With a cotton dipped in Antiseptic lotion and with the help of an orange stick apply the lotion under the free edge of each nail.
Use an acetone remover to get rid of the extra oils on the nails. Apply a thin base coat and using three strokes, one down the middle and one on each side.
Massage with pedicure scrub or simply by cold cream.
Let your nails dry completely before you wear shoes.
